Evening To 2 Am Edt Tuesday...
Warning Message:A coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM this evening
to 2 am EDT Tuesday.
Tidal piling of water along the coast will continue tonight...
with widespread minor coastal flooding around the time of high
tide. Departures of two and one half to three and one quarter
feet above normal are expected across the North Shore. These
tides may approach moderate coastal flooding thresholds at a
few locations along the North Shore. Departures of two to two
and one half feet above normal are anticipated along the South
Shore.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
